Flagship projects

With its different business lines, the Iberdrola Group currently has different projects under construction, which have become true milestones for the company, due to their dimensions and to the commitment to innovation.

Iberdrola Portugal continues to increase its portfolio of projects in operation, which now totals 1,435 MW of installed capacity. The company's latest major milestone was obtaining environmental approval from the government to build the country's largest wind farm, which will be integrated into the Támega hydroelectric complex with its 273 MW. In photovoltaic projects, the Montechoro I and II plants (37 MW) have been completely finished, and the Carregado plant (62 MW) is expected to be operational by the end of 2024.
